Elements Music & Arts Festival 2026: The only valid music festival close to MA

Here’s my ranking for each category and what you need to know before going: 



Location 8/10: If you live in the Northeast (or can get a cheap flight to NY) then this festival is extremely easy to get to. 5 hour drive from Boston. I’ll leave it up to you to judge if that’s a long or short drive, but I can tell you there’s no other festival happening on that scale in this area. 


Why a cheap flight to NY? Elements offers shuttle buses from nearby airports to get you to and from the festival. If you're coming from far away or just want to avoid driving, this is the way to go. The shuttle and tent-only camping pass is going to come out around the same price as car camping, but you can skip the brutal drive home. This year they offered ride services (one way or round trip) from NYC, Newark Airport, and Philly.


Camping 7/10: My personal experience would have been ranked higher, however after talking to others at the festival about their experience not all campsites are equal. My group lucked out with a good location that was quiet, close to the entrance, and had clean bathrooms. I think GA Camping overall was fairly quiet and a good option if you don’t want to go to afters.


That being said, some people in a different section of GA camping had issues with porta-potties not being cleaned, lack of toilet paper, etc. To an extent, I think the cleanliness of a porta-potty is an unavoidable situation. The one's near my section got cleaned and restocked mid-fest, so I don't know what more they could do. Showers consistently had a long line, but were clean and had hot water all 3 days. 


I can’t speak for everyones experience in the Vibe Villages, but general consensus seemed to be that afters went late, music was loud, and bathrooms were subpar. If you want to camp with a large group and go to afters, this is a good option, but if you want some peace and quiet I suggest northside GA. 


Other amenities like ice and food vendors were great. Festival prices, but nothing you couldn't expect. They had people come around on golf carts so buying ice was easier. Another detail I appreciated was a recycling truck that would come by everyday and collect recyclables and give a bag for cans if you did not have one.


Art Installations, Stages, & Activities 9/10: Elements did an amazing job of curating a theme, decorating every area, and not overlooking the details. The neon forest included all sorts of glow in the dark art installations that could occupy you for hours. There were nets between trees to take a break, a house of mirrors, 3 ft tall flowers that felt like Alice in Wonderland, and so much more. 


There were only four stages which made it super easy to navigate. Everything was spaced out enough where noise wasn't bleeding between stages, but close enough that you could get from one stage to another fast. Personally, I like a smaller festival like this because the artists aren’t divided between 10 stages, so you can see more people and travel around less. 


The stages were extremely well designed. Each stage represented one of the elements, which added to the theme and production. My only negative was that the designs didn’t give much room for screens which limited larger visuals, but they definitely made up for it with lasers and overall production. 


As for side quests, there were so many activities that I didn't even come close to exploring them all. I definitely spent most of my day at the campsite and was glued to the stages once I entered, but if you wanted to wander there's plenty to see. Black jack tables where you bet with trinkets, a ferris wheel, bathroom speakeasy, a “Fun Factory” where you could see clowns, people on stilts, and all sorts of unexpected entertainment, and (one of the most unexpected attractions) a full spa with sauna, cold plunge, massages, and IV therapy. There was so much to see and do. I definitely recommend heading in before your must-see sets so you have time to explore. 


Lineup 10/10: Again, maybe this is biased because the options for EDM festivals in New England is limited, but the range of artists and headliners they secured were top tier. 


Day 1: There was a rain delay, but they still managed to keep somewhat the same timing. On this day I saw: Ganja White Night, WonkyWilla, Effin, MCR-T, ATLiens, Kettama, Chris Lake, and Excision (in that order). Such a strong start to the festival. My top sets were Ganja White Night and Effin, who brought well paced sets with heavy bass but also room to breathe. 


Day 2: This day was the best lineup for dubstep fans. I entered the fest and saw the end of Nikita the Wicked, before seeing Sippy, Westend, Hedex, Level Up, Of the Trees, Svdden Death, and Subtronics. Sippy brought heavy drops, despite it being completely bright out during her set. The highlight of the night was going from Level Up into Of the Trees into Svdden. This was my third time seeing Level Up and it’s the best set I’ve seen of hers. Of the Trees is always amazing and truly unique in his production. Then, Svdden Death had people dancing like no other. 


Day 3: The lineup perfectly matched the Sunday vibes and eased people into the headliners. On this day, I saw Cloud Conductor, Lumasi, GRiZ (Chasing the Golden Hour), Know Good, Daily Bread, LSDream, and I Hate Models. I’m partial to a Cloud Conductor set, so this was my favorite out of the 2 Daily Breads. Then, Lumasi caught me by surprise. I had never heard of him, but definitely would see again. Which led me to GRiZ.


This set nearly brought me to tears. The live instrumentals, wholesome energy, and beautiful sunset made it truly unforgettable. The “Show Love, Spread Love” slogan really rang true and reminded me why I go to these events. Sharing music with friends, dancing, and being grateful for how much good exists. 


Overall: I left the event knowing that this is something I want to do for as long as I can. Seeing good music, dancing, spending time with friends, meeting wonderful people, what more could a person ask for?
